Florida Department of Education approves name change from San Ignacio College to San Ignacio University

The San Ignacio de Loyola Education Corporation is pleased to announce that today, July 20, the Florida Department of Education (Miami, Florida) has approved the change in the name of San Ignacio College to San Ignacio University, due to the institution’s development and growth in its educational offering in recent years.

San Ignacio College, which is located in the city of Doral (Miami), has offered bachelor’s degrees in different fields for several years. Starting this year, it also has master’s degree programs for students from the United States and other countries as well.

 

Thanks to its new name, San Ignacio University will be able to continue increasing its offering of academic programs, in order to provide top quality higher education to the community in the United States, as well as to students from Peru and other parts of the world.

 

San Ignacio University pertains to the San Ignacio de Loyola Education Corporation, a global organization with close to 50 years of experience in the education sector and operations in the United States, Peru, Paraguay and China, as well as over 220 strategic partners around the world.

 

Currently, San Ignacio University has the following graduate programs: Master in Business Administration (MBA), Master of Education (MEd) and Master of Arts in Hospitality Management. It also offers undergraduate programs in Business, Marketing, International Business, and Hospitality Management, as well as associate degree programs in Early Childhood Education and Culinary Arts.
