Workshop for future High School graduates

If you’re about to finish High School or recently moved to the United States, this workshop is exactly what you’ve been looking for

Are you about to graduate from High School and would like to go to college but don’t really know what your options are? In a few days, we will be hosting a workshop that you might find very interesting.

We know the future can be frightening, and that most of the times we don’t have a clear understanding of what to expect, but we also hope this workshop can shed some light on the resources at your disposal, and how to start walking your individual path towards success.

This is what we will be talking about:

  • Florida State Tuition Law for undocumented students.
  • Florida’s requirements and college application process.
  • How to pay for college.
  • About DACA/Dream Act and DAPA.
  • Know your rights

There will be guest speakers from Students Working for Equal Rights (S.W.E.R), which is part of the Florida Immigration Coalition (FLIC).

We really hope to see you in San Ignacio College’s campus next Thursday, April 14th, at 6:30pm. Come over with your parents or legal guardians, and we will provide you with all the information you need.
